Ideogrammic compound (會意 /会意) — a person (大) being burned in a sacrificial ceremony (Li Xueqin, 2012) to invoke the rain. At the bottom of the character, a fire (火) is visible. At the top of the character, an open mouth screaming (廿) is visible. Compare 黃.
